Libre Hardware and Software are bricks of our societies and should be in our hands!
Some of our founders members of our volunteer association are based in Italy so we had search and find Companies , hardware engineer to design and produce the prototypes in Italy. And the Notebook body except motherboard was found in Spain where there is another foundation members. We always have searched volunteer hardware engineer and we in our association there are few that have reviewed the work of the payed engineers that have realized our designs and prototypes.
So we intentionally chooses to not produce prototypes in the cheaper way, because for us are more important the condition of labor work, the job rights, so we have produced the prototypes in Italy.
We faced many difficulties on our walk to conceive, design the prototypes and we have designed what to do with democracy involving many times not only the association members, but our supporter and donors, with democratic vote.
New projects will be launched thanks to the arrival of new volunteers like you.
We try to encourage Communities the feel the empowered and competences to produce their own hardware and software and have control on it. So we encourage design, production locally and decentralized.
